Principles and Practices of Open Research: Teaching, Research, Impact, and Learning
The PaPOR TRaIL project is designed to develop a digital badge online module: ‘Principles and Practice of Open Research’. This module is being developed for undergraduate and graduate students to support their knowledge and use of open research practices, and has complimentary content for research supervisors.
The work is guided by the principle that accessible, student-centred, evidence-based open research education will enhance student capacity to implement open research practices. Open research involves increasing transparency and accessibility across all research stages and is recognised as best practice. The project is funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, and described here , and a full protocol of the project can be read here.
