Child & Adolescent Growth & Experience Study

Currently recruiting men aged 18-25 years.

This study aims to explore how young adults remember the experience of early adolescence. The project seeks to describe how people in young adulthood recall and describe the changes that occur with of puberty.  It asks participants to describe how these changes affected the way that they may have thought of themselves, and how it may have changed their experiences at home, in social , school or other settings, and with other people, including friends. 

The project is currently recruiting men aged 18-25 years.

​Pierce O'Connor is the lead research intern on this project in 2026.

Researchers who have worked on this project include Fiona Buckley and Roisin McCormick.  Researchers who worked on the pilot phase included Lisa Murphy, Mary Tobin and Johana Sarasua.
