HaBiTS Study

Health and Behaviour in Teens Study

HaBiTS Study.png

** This project has paused recruitment.

Adolescent health has several dimensions, including physical health and psychosocial development. The HaBiTs Study aims to examine how changes in physical health, for example, heightened inflammation in the body, may be related to adolescent behaviour and patterns of thinking.

The project is currently in recruitment stage, and will work with 80 teenagers. Each teenager will complete standard measures of behaviour, thoughts and feelings, as well as saliva samples used to determine the level of inflammation in the body.  If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact s.dockray@ucc.ie
