The BEaTS Adolescent Advisory Panel is a group of volunteers aged 11-17 who share their views and knowledge about what research is needed to understand the experience of adolescence, as well as what research is needed to support positive development and opportunities for adolescents themselves.

The Advisory Panel share their views in workshops, and panel members receive training and support to enable them to participate comfortably and confidently.

Panel members have the opportunity to join research projects as a research intern, and to contribute to the development of communication materials, such as blogs, to share research and information with other adolescents.

People usually will join the Adolescent Advisory Panel for 12-18 months.  The Panel meets approximately 3 times per year. If you are interested in joining the BEaTS Advisory Panel, contact Samantha for more information.
